Jim Wisner

Jim
Wisner has spent over 30 years in the Food and drug industry,
with considerable experience in marketing, merchandising, and
store operations. He has served as a Vice-president at Jewel
Food Stores in Chicago, Shaw's Supermarkets in New England,
and at Topco Associates, the $4 billion store brand procurement
and marketing cooperative. He was Vice President of Willard
Bishop Consulting before starting his own firm, Wisner Retail
Marketing (now Wisner Marketing Group, Inc.), in January of
1999.
Jim brings to his clients a wealth of expertise in retail strategy,
category management, product development, consumer healthcare,
and store brand marketing. While at Topco, he started their
highly successful Pharmacy procurement and services program
and developed numerous innovative marketing and merchandising
programs for over 40 leading U.S. supermarket chains. He is
the principal author and developer of several industry-wide
research and Pharmacy Education programs in Whole Health, including
the widely publicized Women's Well-Being Merchandising Strategies,
released by the General Merchandise Distributor's Council.
Wisner Marketing Group serves a diverse array of clients including
retailers, manufacturers, academic institutions, healthcare
companies, and trade associations. The company specializes in
developing innovative approaches to complex trade marketing
issues.
Jim received his BBA degree in Marketing from the University
of Notre Dame and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of
Management at Northwestern University. He has held a visiting
position at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of
Pharmacy and lectures on a wide variety of retail and healthcare
topics to audiences around the country. |
